Summary

Performs and supervises hydrochloric acid stimulation and chemical treatments. Supervises and coordinates activities of equipment operators.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Directly supervises 1 or more employees in the equipment operator group.

Carrie out supervisor responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include training new employees, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Treater will issue written and oral instructions.

Discuss job treatment with customer and confirms volumes and procedure.

Perform calculations and develop treatment procedure information to perform the treatment with the equipment operator or operators.

Assign duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.

Maintain harmony among equipment operators and resolves grievances.

Generate treating report using rolligon dashtrac software to summarize job treatment.

Prepare service report and service receipt accurately and neatly for each individual well treatment.

Supervise and assists loading of trucks and trailers to conform to the dispatch sheet and loading procedures.

Check trucks and equipment prior to leaving the yard to ensure all connections, chemicals, materials, safety equipment and special equipment needed to perform the treatment is present, secured and available before arriving on location.

Conduct tailgate safety meeting before each treatment performed.

Conduct and submit written report on job performance.

Maintain treating van, treating equipment, safety equipment and keeps supplies needed to perform treatment of each job assigned.

Stay current on all safety trainings/certifications.

Qualifications

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or 6 months to one year of related supervisory experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Class A/CDL with Hazmat endorsement

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Treaters must have the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure instructions. Treaters must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, equipment operators, contractors, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

Treaters must have the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Treaters should have the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical & Environmental Demands

Employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.

Employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals.

Employee will be on call 24 hours a day and work long hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $155,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
