This is a Part Time weekend position- 8 hours a day every Saturday and Sunday. Training will be during the week.

MUST pass level 2 background screen and drug test!

We are looking for an ENERGETIC, goal oriented, compassionate individual that is excited to help facilitate activities to improve the quality of life for our Residents.

Coordinating activities such as Chair exercises, yoga, walks or gardening.

Assisting with the coordination of groups or clubs within the facility for residents

Assisting with the coordination of events

Occasionally attending doctor's appointments outside of facility with resident if requested.

Engaging residents and facilitating participation in hobbies or activities

The Activity Assistant assists the Activity Director to provide group and individual activities for the residents. Duties will involve personal contact with a varying resident population and a varied work schedule that may include weekends and holidays. Tasks also will involve Record keeping, attention to the environment, use of supplies and equipment, and maintenance of storage area. This position involves organizing events, setting up daily activities, and enriching daily lives of residents.

Pay: $12.00 per hour
