Congregational Home's Life Enrichment team has an exciting, full-time opportunity for an Activities Specialist. This would be a perfect role for someone who feels fulfilled with creating an environment for senior residents where moments of joy, independence, and wellness are the focus of each and every day.

Responsibilities of an Activities Specialist include:
- Organize and participate in person-specific activity program, including 1:1 interventions, small group facilitation, and large group presentation.
- Design and implement creative and exciting programs/activities for senior residents that meet their physical, spiritual, emotional, and intellectual needs
- Assess residents and completes care plans accordingly, documenting necessary information in their medical record
- Provide entertainment, relaxation, and fulfillment to improve residents' daily living skills
Requirements of Position:
- Must be a qualified therapeutic recreation specialist or an activity specialist who is currently licensed or registered, as required by the state; OR 2 years of experience in a social or recreational program within the last 5 years
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain cooperative working relationships
- Displays organizational skills with the ability to set and meet deadlines
- Proficient with computers; able to adapt to different technology platforms
