Summary:
The Ad Operations Specialist works in conjunction with senior team members across ad operations, digital media, paid search, and research and analytics. This role is responsible for setup and installing media tracking for our client’s marketing. This person must also maintain all tracking and tagging through Google Tag Manager and Google Campaign Manager and other relevant programs. This role may assist, strategize and execute on media planning & buying functions as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Co-strategize with media leads to develop ideas and recommendations for tracking opportunities and optimization insights
- Review and develop tracking plans on site for client landing pages and websites overall
- Assist with creation of tracking strategies for campaign measurability and improvement
- Install tracking tags and floodlights in Google Tag Manager independently
- Implement and ensure accuracy of nomenclature around tracking and tagging practices
- Review and manage performance metrics for ongoing campaigns
- Test and confirm tracking implementation regularly
- Implement regular QC of established tracking
- Collaborate with research and analytics team members to ensure tracking meets needs of campaigns and aligns with dashboard delivery needs
- Identify new opportunities for existing clients to expand current campaign tracking/reporting strategies
- Assist with clean-up projects for all clients Google Tag Manager and Google Campaign Manager
- Assist team with reporting needs from Google Campaign Manager for all relevant programs based on client requirements
- Keep current on all trends in the tracking and tagging space, specifically Floodlights
- Basic Javascript and HTML knowledge levels
- Ability to work within Google Analytics to setup events, goals and basic settings within the platform
- Ability to assist on media setup across campaign manager and other media platforms as needed

Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- 2+ years of tracking, tagging and/or relevant media experience
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Organized and attentive to details
- Hard working, energetic and flexible; able to handle multiple priorities, constant change and last-minute requests.
- Basic website backend knowledge
- Ability to manage and develop macros and advanced tracking capabilities
- Experience with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Campaign Manager interfaces required
- Relevant Google Certifications required
