Job Summary
Pay rate: $26/hr.
Delivering day-to-day administrative assistance and to efficiently process payroll and other administration duties.
Administration
  • Review and verify daily account payables, obtain required approvals, allocate the AP to the proper cost center and GL code. Process AP for payment.
  • Review and process expense reports, rush checks and petty cash account.
  • Provide excellent customer service internally and externally by courteously receiving telephone calls and providing feedback in a timely fashion.
  • Handle confidential information and maintain company records and files.
  • Assist and support Administration Department as required by Department Manager
  • Action and track hotel and flight reservations.
Payroll
  • Process, edit and administer weekly payroll. Ensure all payroll transactions are accurate.
  • Ensure payroll exceptions are resolved on a daily basis (Attendance Enterprise).
  • Liaison with staff regarding all pay inquiries and resolve.
  • Resolve any payroll retro pay issues.
  • Review and distribute vacation/sick/PTO reports weekly. Investigate and resolve vacation/sick/PTO balance errors.
  • Order final payroll checks request in compliance with CA labor laws.
Qualifications and Competencies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Up to 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Ability to comply with deadlines and work under pressure
  • Lawson, Damarel experience is a plus
  • Comfortable with Microsoft applications
  • Experience in airline finance is a plus
  • Have professional phone etiquette
  • Self-driven and have high energy levels
  • Organized and attention to detail a must.
