SUMMARY

Performs or assists in a wide variety of duties to direct and coordinate all phases of Rock River Manufacturing. Responsible for the performance of all functions at times including: reporting, work order management, assists in planning and forecasting, profitability analysis, personnel administration, policy and procedure development and implementation, as well as compliance and legal coordination while creating an entrepreneurial company environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares and submits recurring reports to assure compliance with regulatory bodies including though not limited to local, state, tribal and federal levels.
  • Follow robust and lean operational procedures, goals, strategies, and objectives. Leads the improvement of overall operational processes to ensure future competitive edge and success.
  • Handles business relationships and problem solving with professionalism when communicating with all levels of this and other companies.
  • Understands industry regulations (both current and expected changes) relevant to all company services.
  • Provides insights to other managers with regard to scheduling work and staffing needs.
  • Develop and train management and other staff to track and maintain store inventory.
  • Provides insights to other managers with regard to personnel needs (daily and long term) and works closely with HR when hiring or terminating an employee.
  • Maintains clear and accurate files. Produces required reports and information for administrative staff and executive management.
  • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of office operations.
  • Other job related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills and ability to deal effectively with a variety of people and situations
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Ability to analyze and implement new and existing processes
  • Must be able to utilize a strategic thought process in daily operations
  • Maintains a valid Driver’s License and be insurable under company insurance provider/program

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field is required.
  • Six or more years of experience in an operational environment (manufacturing or warehousing experience required).
  • Experience with ISO certification or lean manufacturing preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.03 - $23.00 per hour
