Job Description:
Administrative Assistant duties vary depending on the assigned Division or Section. The general duties include answering the telephones, pulling daily dockets, organizing, maintaining, and retrieving case files. Acts as a liaison between attorneys, courts, witnesses, victims, other departments and agencies, as well as the public. Prepares and processes legal documents and papers as well as mails, faxes, or arranges delivery of legal correspondence to parties as directed. Compiles and maintains statistics for the court/division. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. A minimum of two (2) years general office experience, or two (2) years of experience with a criminal justice agency, or sixty hours of college or technical school in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Public Administration or directly related field. Experience in a legal environment is preferred.
Skills Requirements:
A successful candidate must have strong communication and organizational work skills. The candidate must have the ability to manage multiple tasks and have proficiency in Microsoft Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
Hours:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hours may vary based on the business needs of the department.

Salary (Starting):
$19.51 hourly/$3,381.73 monthly/$40,580.80 annually
