Administrative Assistant | Stayton, Oregon
Overview and Responsibilities
Reporting to the General Manager, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing clerical support to staff at their assigned location while partnering with corporate accounting to support local financial operations. This role will have a wide range of tasks, maintaining a heavier focus on accounting responsibilities.
- Support accounts receivable by preparing customer invoices.
- Assist accounts payable in creating purchase orders and reviewing vendor invoices.
- Partner with facility leadership to set up and maintain customer and vendor accounts in accounting software.
- Support corporate accounting by completing regular operational reporting.
- Assist with new hires and workers’ compensation related processes.
- Partner with facility staff to maintain a variety of facility supplies.
- Champion clerical tasks from answering phone inquiries, distributing mail, setting up meetings, to maintaining facility records.
- Tackle administrative projects.
- Escalate matters to leadership as needed.
- Collaborate with facility leadership to identify and resolve administrative needs.
- Foster exceptional and collaborative partnerships with facility staff and external partners.
What you'll need
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2+ years in an administrative role.
- 2+ years of experience with accounting and payroll preferred.
- Manufacturing industry a plus.

Compensation
- $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
