Summary of Job Function:

Acts as receptionist for Cancer Support Community (CSC) program. Receives and appropriately directs all phone calls, if necessary, provides information on CSC programs and assists with community based resource information. Organizes and maintains all member and program facilitator files including member intake and waiver forms, program facilitator certification and liability insurance information, and correspondence from CSC Corporate. Provides office support including maintaining statistical records, tracking psychotherapy appointments, creating and submitting psychotherapy charge forms. Provide assistance in creation and emailing of program calendar to members and professional staff. Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc.


Job Qualifications:

Medical office experience preferred. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred. Previous experience with medical terminology preferred. Excellent customer service skills required.
