Administrative Assistant in the Office of the Registrar
Job description
Alderson Broaddus University is seeking an Administrative Assistant for the Office of the Registrar. This is an entry level position of 37.5 hour per week. The Administrative Assistant performs a variety of data entry and clerical tasks in support of the Office of the Registrar of Alderson Broaddus University.
Essential duties and responsibilities include: data entry, verification of student academic status; filling transcript requests; respond to inquiries and provide information to faculty and staff in a professional manner; answer policy and procedural question; assist students with class registration; other duties as assigned by the Registrar.
Requirements for the position are: high school diploma required but college degree preferred; ability to deal effectively with a wide range of people; ability to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions; proficient with MS Office Suite; high level computer efficiency; and excellent communication skills.
