Are you interested in being a part of Downtown Omaha’s renovated park system? The RiverFront is looking for an administrative coordinator to help the team programming and maintaining metro’s new crown jewel!

Founded in 2018, The RiverFront combines three parks in the heart of downtown Omaha into one identity. After undergoing renovations, the three parks now connect, serving as a gathering space between the historic Old Market and vibrant north downtown Omaha.

This role will provide a wide range of administrative tasks at a high level for The RiverFront, including purchasing of supplies and materails, assistance with agreement execution, and leading the organization of administrative tasks within the team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepares requests for proposal (RFP), conducts pre-bid meetings and interviews, receives completed bids and facilitates the review process. Assists with the evaluation process; prepares contracts and white papers, as needed.
  • Facilitates the purchasing process, documentation, project tracking and other duties, as assigned.
  • Researches products, evaluates pricing, and enters purchase orders into Ungerboeck for the department. Facilitates the approval process for purchase orders within Ungerboeck.
  • Provides back-up assistance to The RiverFront department, including answering phones and other duties as needed.
  • Arranges and coordinates travel schedules and reservations for The RiverFront department, as requested.
  • Facilitates office organization including but not limited to supply ordering and scheduling.
  • Assist the Human Resources department with receiving of part-time employee applications, coordinating interviews, employee on-boarding process, and general training.
  • Assist with creation of the yearly The RiverFront operations budget, as needed.
  • Assist with a yearly inventory of all The RiverFront related supplies, as needed.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,500.00 - $45,000.00 per year
