ADMINISTRATIVE RELIGIOUS EDUCATOR

*Position is Contingent upon Contract Award

PART-TIME

Location: Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD

QUALIFICATIONS and TASKS:

• Demonstrate a familiarity with and a commitment to support the Christian Faith and practices.
• Hold a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Religious Education or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the areas of religious education coordination and teaching faith formation programs.
• Shall have the ability to communicate effectively with chaplains, volunteers (to include parents and youth), and government representatives in English orally and in written format (i.e., advertising and marketing, instructions, invoices, etc.).
• Shall have the ability to work with multiple congregations & faith groups. Effective interaction with individuals from different religious faith groups is imperative.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently and clearly with excellent comprehension.
• Experience in military chapel programs is preferred as the position relates to interacting with military families and staff continuously.
• Be able to obtain a government issued Common Access Card (CAC) and base access

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
