Summary

The Administrator, Supporter Experience Center is an important part of the agency’s fundraising, retention and acquisitions strategies. This role is external customer facing, and will focus on providing our donors with a direct line to Save the Children. You will be responsible for building relationships, educating and ensuring proper cultivation and retention of our supporters, and ensuring that the data we collect is accurate and up to date.

What You’ll Be Doing (Essential Duties)

Operations (80%)

  • Operating in an Inbound (I/B) Call Center environment, respond to supporter requests that arrive in the Supporter Experience Center (SEC) from phone calls, email, social media and mail.
  • Maintain consistency in adhering to quality, strategy, and production standards that promotes supporter retention and experience, while contributing to fundraising and accurately promoting Save the Children’s brand.
  • Professionally and enthusiastically engage and demonstrate appreciation for both current and new supporters to assist in their acquisition and retention.
  • Provide feedback and observations to aid in on-going process improvement

Data Maintenance (20%)

  • Enter, track and record all necessary data from supporter interactions into Save’s CRM, and other data capture programs.
  • Process administrative duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Perform data maintenance by researching and managing follow-up on assigned files and records.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus at least 1 year of relevant experience or education
  • Proven customer service orientation
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and follow procedure and process
  • Professional proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Professional proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with individuals and teams at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering and maintaining and environment of diversity, inclusion, and belonging.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Conversational Spanish proficiency

Compensation

Save the Children is offering the following salary ranges for this position, dependent on candidate location:

  • Geo 1- NY Metro, DC, and other locations with labor costs significantly above national average: Up to $54,000/ year
  • Geo 2-Locations around the US National Labor Cost Average: Up to $49,000/ year
  • Geo 3-Locations significantly below the US National Labor Cost Average: Up to $44,000/year

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.
