Position Summary: The primary purpose of the position is to assist the Director of Business Development in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing social service programs as they relate to the admissions and intake processes and activities of new residents, in accordance with current existing federal, state, and local standards, as well as our established policies and procedures, to assure that medically related emotional social needs of the residents are met/maintained on an individual basis. This includes patient and family education and orientation before, during, and after admission, counseling and problem resolution as needed, and inter-departmental coordination of the same. it also includes responsibilities for the community outreach and education. This is a staff level position with reporting to the Director of Business Development.
Experience preferred but not required.
