Position Summary
Coordinate and process undergraduate applications which includes determining admissibility of the student, evaluating transfer credits and inputting all pertinent information into the Banner, and Slate systems. Includes daily use of document imaging system, OnBase.
Minimum Qualifications from Classification
- Two years of general clerical experience. One year of which included typing, word processing, or other experience generating documents; OR
- An Associate’s degree in Office Occupations or Office Technology; OR
- Graduation from a private school of business with a Certificate in Office Occupations or Office Technology AND one year of general clerical experience.
Note:
College courses in Office Occupations or Office Technology will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
Additional Minimum Qualifications for this Position
- The person in this position must be able to do math computations using fractions; convert from semester to quarter systems; correlate another institution’s transcripts to the PSU system; and be able to work with a variety of school systems.
- Able to type 55 wpm.
- Ability to use calculator with accuracy.
- Type information on a computer system for long hours on a daily basis.
- Familiarity with microcomputers and ability to learn to work with a mainframe computer.

Total Compensation Range & Benefits Statement
The starting hourly rate for this position will be between $16.19 and $18.12 an hour. The starting salary may be negotiable above this range, however it will be dependent upon the knowledge, experience, skills and abilities of the chosen candidate, the budget of the hiring department, and approval from Human Resources.
