Position Summary:

The Advertising & Digital Marketing Manager’s role is a fun, exciting and integral role within marketing the department and the company. The position serves as the lead role for all marketing initiatives working closely with internal departments and external agencies and key stake holders. A holistic perspective and approach to marketing is key to the success of the position with a significant emphasis and knowledge required of digital and social media. The person will work closely with the head of marketing to establish strategies and tactics to execute and achieve monthly and annual goals. The role also manages key agency partners (Digital/Social, PR, Video/Photography) and will assist with fulfillment of Sponsorship Partnerships and activations.

Experience & Knowledge:

a. Work with head of marketing and digital/social, PR and content agencies to craft holistic communication plans and goals.

b. Collaborate with digital agency to execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns.

c. Work with digital/social agency to design, build, optimize, grow and maintain our social media presence.

d. Report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).

e. Collaborate with digital agency to identify trends and insights; optimize spend and performance based on the insights

f. Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies.

g. Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests; experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.

h. Collaborate with digital agency to create landing pages and optimize user experience.

i. Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch

points.

j. Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption.

k. Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital and social campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.

l. Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends).

m. Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., DART, Atlas).

n. Experience in analyzing and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns.

o. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.

p. Knowledge of Retargeting/Remarketing, Display, and Rich Media/Video Advertising.

q. Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.

r. Assist with trafficking, billing, and budget management.

s. Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online and social marketing and measurement.

Education & Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field is required.
  • Five plus years in digital marketing and social media with certificates in digital marketing, social media and website development/optimization are also helpful.
  • Google certification is a plus.
  • The candidate must have knowledge of the predominant digital marketing platforms.
  • A good grasp of marketing automation software is also beneficial.
