Job Overview:

An exciting opportunity to join one of the largest and fastest growing RIA firms in the country and step into a high-impact role as an Advisor Solutions Marketing Consultant. As a core member of the Stratos Practice Management & Consulting team, the Advisor Solutions Marketing Consultant is dedicated to supporting both our department initiatives as well our advisors in their marketing & social media endeavors.

Reporting to the Head of Practice Management & Consulting and working closely with our team of Consultants, this individual will have broad and deep experience with all areas of marketing with the end goal of partnering with our advisors in their efforts to acquire and retain clients. They should have a solid understanding of the wealth management industry and financial advisors’ needs and preferences.

Additionally, this individual will take a leadership role in departmental initiatives, including collateral development, presentation design, website management, digital content creation, vendor review, and other special projects.

Responsibilities:

• Provide the best client experience to our financial advisors by taking a hands-on role with their social media, website development & other marketing needs
• Provide guidance on various third-party tools and resources available to support advisors' marketing efforts
• Take a leadership role in the development & maintenance of brochures, workshop kits, blog content, marketing plans, client welcome kits, newsletters and the like
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert related to marketing tools and resources available to advisors and home office
• Aid in the development of branding, DBA, and logo creation
• Source as well as create marketing content to help advisors market their business
• Conduct traditional and digital marketing consultations
• Present direct feedback from advisors and work with manager on actionable solutions
• Provide demos of marketing tools and resources
• Attend industry and marketing-specific conferences, as appropriate
• Track and report on key performance indicators

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Communication, Journalism or a related field required (Finance or Economics minor is helpful to understand our industry)
• 3# years hands-on traditional, digital, and social media marketing experience required
• Knowledge of digital marketing and social media best practices required
• Experience working with Adobe software package (Photoshop, Spark, & InDesign)
• Graphic design skills strongly desired
• Video content creation and editing is a plus
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office required (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
• A self-starter, proactive with a positive, growth-oriented mindset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Experienced collaborator, strong attention to detail, independent and critical decision maker
• Resourceful with the ability to work autonomously but also contribute and work well on teams, collaborative, enthusiastic and positive attitude
