Duties:

• Be the liaison between staff, parents, and public volunteer groups communicating various information (i.e., schedule changes, behavior problems, program information)
• Plan and implement weekly Christian education program. Prepare teaching materials and education supplies.
• With the Corps Officer, plan and implement a disciplinary system. This includes both rewards and consequences
• Attend all staff meetings
• Be an active, knowledgeable, and participating member of Corps youth program
• Develop high quality programs to meet the recreational needs of the community within the resources available
• Address any discipline issues with the assistance of Corps Officers, working closely with parents and program staff.
• Ability to record any incidents with appropriate forms. Ouch forms, Incident Reports, Suspected Child Abuse reports (in house and state forms) and Accident reports. As well as faxing and filing all reports through proper channels. Willingness to call Child Protective Services and/or police when needed. (may be required when filing suspected child abuse reports)
• Responsible for assisting in the development and recreational and athletic events. Responsible for ensuring all areas are set up and ready for the use of that area as program requires.
• Responsible in keeping of statistics of After School Kids programs, Recreational programming, and events.
