Aftermarket Senior Financial Analyst
The Aftermarket Senior Analyst is a key member on the Commercial Finance team at Club Car. This role will directly support the Aftermarket business with forecasting, variance analysis and accounting activities related to the Aftermarket Sales and Product Teams.
Provide product and sales support by loading data into Hyperion for the annual operating plan (AOP) and quarterly forecast cycles. Assist with creating and running report views for the Aftermarket Sales and Product Managers.
Manage and perform month-end close activities such as accruals, depreciation revaluations, re-classes, Augusta branch location and work order allocation entries; ensuring accuracy and timeliness, in accordance with Club Car financial controls and accounting policies.
Perform Aftermarket business and inventory reconciliations; resolve variances in a timely manner.
Monitor and correct inventory variances between Car Tracking System (CTS) and Mapics ERP.
Respond to accounting and financial questions by researching and analyzing data. Ability to run ad hoc analysis and present findings in an insightful manner. Host monthly financial reviews with key business partners and stakeholders.
Facilitate monthly discussions with sales teams in regards to open trades / trades in transit; capture resolution plan.
Support the annual Standard Book Valuation process and perform system updates for approved values.
Compile monthly financial package for the Sales and Product Group business partners. Complete P&L analysis and ending inventory reports to support the Monthly Operations Review (MOR) presentation and monthly Treasury requests.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance and/or accounting discipline. (CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of finance related experience.
- Must be detail-oriented, deadline sensitive and able to adapt to change in a fast-paced team environment.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and be able to demonstrate a very high skill level in Excel.
- Experience with Mapics / AS400, Hyperion Financial Management and analytics platforms such as Tableau/OBI a plus.
- Demonstrate knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley legislation.
- Ability to host teleconferences and work from home on an as-needed basis in a space that is free of distractions and is home-office ready.
