Hawker Pacific Aerospace, Sun Valley, CA is seeking an Aircraft Records Analyst to support its Aircraft Records Department. Selected applicant will be responsible for maintaining all aircraft records documentation. Capable of being the primary point of contact for customers both internal & external teams to ensure timely productions/documents.

This position may be assigned to one or more departments depending upon the company needs at the time.

Essential Duties: Aircraft Records Analyst

This individual has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks. May be assigned some or all duties indicated below depending on job progression level.

• 
  Verify that all necessary documentation accompanies the work package and is properly filed.
• Recommend process improvements and methods of cost savings. Support the analysis of warranty and field returns.
• Responsible for the efficient and accurate collection, sorting, reviewing, analyzing, organizing, updating, filing and maintaining of all aircraft records documentation during an overhaul/repair process.
• Responsible for “Back to Birth” traceability check for exchange, as well as closed loop events (if applicable).
• Resolve traceability gaps with OEM and/or customer.
• Prepare and finalize timely Overhaul/Repair documentation package.
• Process and maintain accurate safe life for as per Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO) or customer requirements.
• Approve life limited replacement/swap request from Program Engineering, as well as documentation guidance for strategic surplus purchases.
• Examine and check forms, records, reports, and documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Keep abreast of the latest changes, i.e. AD Notes, Airworthiness Limitation revisions, and company programs.
• Provide technical training on “Back to Birth” for applicable departments.
• Responsibility to work with LEAN Manufacturing principles.
• Performs other duties as required by business needs.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience: Three (3) years’ related experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Superior presentation and negotiation skills. Strong adaptability and capacity to work in fast-paced environments. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Attention to detail and ability to multitask tasks from multiple administrators. SAP Knowledge
