Currently In Need of Facilities Maintenance Technicians for our Boston location of operation. Weekly Pay Every Thursday.
Principal Responsibilities
- General building and equipment repairs and preventative maintenance
- Responsible for in-house maintenance of facilities
- Light carpentry, painting, electrical repairs and modifications
- Responsible for HVAC: heating, ventilation, air conditioning
- Ensure all refrigerated units are operational at all times
- Ensure all department Logs are properly maintained
- Ordering of parts via data bases and other administrative paperwork related to the position
- Availability to work during inclement weather, including but not limited to, snow removal.
- Miscellaneous maintenance duties deemed necessary by management
Education and Experience
- 1 years experience in facility maintenance
- 1 certification (not licenses) in a work related areas: plumbing, HVAC, electrical, boilers, welding and/or carpentry preferred
- Safe work record, practice safe work habits, following Standard Operating Procedures
- Flexibility - able to react to changing priorities
- Must be able to work in small spaces and climb ladders'
- At least one weekend day availability (Saturday or Sunday)
- Possess a valid drivers license
- Pass a pre-employment drug screening and random drug screening (including Marijuana)
