We are Paper Plane Logistics, a Delivery Service Partner (DSP), looking to hire full-time and part-time Delivery Associates (DA) for last-mile deliveries in the greater Atlanta area.

Delivery Associates work hard, but enjoy autonomy in their workday. Ideal candidates are self-driven, energetic, reliable, and exhibit professionalism. DA's must be goal-oriented while prioritizing safety and the customer experience in a fast paced environment. We operate 7 days a week, 361 days a year.

Currently, we are looking to fill both full-time and part-time delivery driving positions at DAT6 (7055 Campbellton Rd, Atlanta GA 30331). As a delivery driver, you will be subject to the responsibilities of following company procedures while loading and delivering customer packages. Average Day of a Delivery Associate:

• DA's deliver packages to houses, mobile parks, apartments, and businesses

• A DA's schedule will usually consist of 3-4, 10-hour shifts per week, including weekends and holiday shifts.

• Delivery time starts at 9:30 am

• Training routes are provided for the first week of training, with the expectation that you build up to a full route.

• DOT certification is not required, however training will be offered after employment has begun and DA's are highly encouraged to complete the certification steps.

• Safely drive and perform safety inspections on company vehicles

• Follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and company policies

• Successfully handle and deliver packages on time

• Provide stellar customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events/conditions

• Communicate effectively with the support team to provide exceptional customer service and to ensure deliveries are completed

• Use a smartphone device for GPS Navigation, to scan packages, to conduct administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and to communicate with supervisors and other team members

• Load and unload packages to and from the delivery vehicle

• Support the team in daily work requirements such as through participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes

• Solve problems independently using critical thinking skills

• Behave responsibly and courteously towards others

Driver Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible to perform in this position, you must:

• Authorized to work in the United States
• Be at least 21 years of age and have a valid drivers’ license (CDL)
• Pass a five-panel drug test
• Possess a High School Diploma
• Pass a background check
• Must have a clean motor vehicle report
• Able to complete mandatory training
• Available to work weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements:

• Lift a maximum of 50 pounds during an 8 to 10-hour work shift
• Appropriately handle stressful driving demands including inclement weather conditions
• Climb stairs, reach overhead, squat/bend/kneel during an 8 to 10-hour work shift

Benefits:

• Compensation starts at $17.25/hour (paid biweekly), subject to increase over time with performance
