Addison Group has a client located in the southern suburbs of Minneapolis, MN with an immediate opening for an Accounts Payable Specialist position. This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist who has experience with full-cycle AP, 3-way match, posting to the GL, reporting, and GL coding. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who is looking for growth opportunities in an outstanding organization. This contract-to-hire position pays between $50000 - $60000 / year depending on applicable experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Daily processing of full-cycle Accounts Payable and 3-way match
- Assist with reconciliations and journal entries as needed
- Process all 1099’s, vendor management, coding AP invoices to the GL
- Data entry of 100-200 invoices daily to be entered into their ERP system
- Review vendor statements on invoices older than 60 days, and A/P Audit
- Advanced Excel skills to create and edit spreadsheets for ad-hoc reporting
Requirements:
- Associates or Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong Excel skills with working knowledge of V-Lookups and Pivot Tables
- High attention to detail
- Systems: Great Plains, QuickBooks, Oracle or JDE
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist
