This client's Pharmacy Solutions Engineering team is growing and needs to add a strong Application Architect to manage a portfolio of 10-20 .NET applications. This Architect will be working alongside a team of other Architects and Developers to work on projects which may include new API development, the creation of new app functionalities based on business needs, new data sources, etc. He or she will also be looked to for guidance from the development team, so a background in .NET development is key.

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

The Senior Application Architect performs technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications. Develops specifications for new products/services, applications and service offerings. Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent applications. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction.

Additional responsibilities include:

Drive product and platform innovations, capacity planning, roadmaps, upgrades and future technologies.

Perform analysis and design, requirements gathering, documentation, programming, testing, system installation and/or conversion and general troubleshooting and problem resolution.

Defines and refines enterprise technology standards, reference architecture, and build tools for the enterprise.

What do you need:

• 3+ years' experience as an Application Architect, with a background in development - specifically, experience estimating solutions based on generic feature requirements
• Strong experience developing API's using .NET or .NET Core (recent versions)
• Strong experience with a public Cloud platform (Azure preferred)
• Experience working with multiple teams in a complex Agile, enterprise environment
• Experience working on a large-scale application integration would be preferred
• Experience working on an Agile/Scrum team
