Role Summary:
This person will be a member of a production support team that provides application production support to multiple core business web-based applications as well as several COTS products. This role will be a second shift role (3pm CT – 11:30pm CT) with limited flexibility . This person will work with the aid of senior team members and will be accountable for production application support activities and tasks. Responsibilities include monitoring and various other prod support tasks, providing technical support and input when needed, addressing issues, and representing the application from a capability and technical viewpoint whenever requested. Participate/ provide input on escalated production issues and follow up activities, ad hoc research and analysis, and trouble ticket triage. Develop and maintain queries for statistics or ad hoc needs. Developing solutions and troubleshooting SSRS reports, Web based Applications and their associated DB backends. This position requires no travel.

Major Duties: Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Superior customer service skills. Focuses on customer satisfaction.

Gain and maintain domain expertise on systems supported, and participate in day-to-day support operations of the systems.

Monitoring, ticket triaging and completion, issue analysis and resolution or proper delegation.

Establish, maintain and follow necessary processes and procedures for operational support of designated applications.

Remove obstacles and barriers to allow team members to do their jobs and escalate appropriately.

Strong oral, written and analytical/communication skills

Flexibility and experience working as Individual Contributor and as member of a Team

Closely collaborates with both production support and development team members to successfully manage day to day support of applications under the team’s purview.

Collaborates with team to support the various application’s User Interface, backend data and all associated reports and database jobs.

Aids in identifying efficiencies and improve day to day proactive monitoring of applications and associated processes.

Works primarily as a level 2 resource interacting not only with the various areas of IT and with end users as well.

Aids in management of escalated outages and system events.

Gains and then shares knowledge and experience to contribute to growth of overall team capabilities.

Does system checkouts as needed related to patch testing and certain enhancement work.

Works in an environment with rapidly changing business requirements and priorities.

Qualifications:
Must be a current contractor with Cigna Healthcare, Evernorth Health Services, or one of their subsidiaries.

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Must be able to adapt to various SDLC styles and approaches (waterfall or agile).

Knowledge of and real world experience with some combination of the MS stack (C#, ASP.Net MVC, SQL, etc.) required.

Experience or training in some: TDD, Angular, HTML5, CSS3, Web API, HTTP 2, and/or Git.

3+ years of delivering and supporting production software products required.

3+ years working with web based applications with SQL DB backends or similar COTS product.

Able to write MS SQL queries and utilize MS SQL Server Manager to an intermediate level.

Strong focus on delivering superior customer service required.

Excellent troubleshooting, analysis, and problem-solving abilities required.

Excellent documentation skills.

Ability to diagnose issues using broad application, desktop, as well as network related knowledge.

Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to work with staff and business required.

Willingness to learn our business domain required.

Preferred Qualifications:
General understanding of Healthcare or Financial industry.

General knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid industries.

General experience in Project Management as well as QA and UAT testing.

Experience troubleshooting and administering AppX, and/or Web based applications in general.

Experience in AWS technologies.
