Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Manager for its Tampa, Florida location.

Duties: Develop advanced database analytic applications using Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) tool Ab Initio. Ensure schedule, quality and scope of application is met. Provide technical oversights across systems and application, perform project review, and review and analyze proposed technical solutions. Provide technical and architectural guidance on requirements analyses, and manage data resources development. Define and drive architectural directions for new products. Create sourcing jobs, write ETL transforms or codes, and publish data on to DB/Hadoop platforms using Ab Initio graphical development environment and Spark. Participate in all stages of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in an AGILE Scrum environment. Prepare high level technical design documentations. Perform code reviews according to internal standards. Analyze complexity of solution design and optimize for simplicity and enhanced performance. Prioritize enhancement projects and direct developers to meet deliverables. Oversee level-3 escalations in ETL team activities ensuring timely resolution of issues. Contribute to formulation of strategies for applications development and other functional areas. Interact with Project Management Office and translate reported problems/issues into JIRA items for implementation.

Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and 4 years of experience as a Software Developer, Principal Consultant, Technical Lead or related position performing database analytics applications development. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in the stated fields and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the above stated positions. Full span of experience must include: Applications design, development, and implementation using Ab Initio, Spark, Hadoop and Unix; Implementing business rules using Express-It; Database designing and development using Oracle and Hive; Data import through Sqoop; Job Scheduling using Control Center and Autosys; Incident management and Testing using Service Now and HPSM.
