Medical Assistant Program

As a member of the Patient Care Services team, the Medical Assistant student provides clinical and administrative responsibilities under the supervision of a Physician. This program is designed to meet standards set by the Affordable Care Act, the skills set required by regional employers and preparation for the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) national exam.

The program is a 12-week program including 320 hours of classroom instruction with theory and hands-on lab experiences and a 160-hour practicum at one of our local medical offices.

Patient Service Representative Program

As a member of the Patient Care Services team, the Patient Service Representative are trained in administrative duties that are required to work effectively and productively in a medical setting. Units of study include, but are not limited to medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, Medial Law Ethics and bioethics, computer skill training, integrated administrative procedures and safety, customer service in a medical industry with an emphasis on exceptional professionalism and a superb work ethic.

The program is a 7-week program including classroom instruction with some practicum hours.

Licensed Nursing Assistant Program

As a member of the Patient Care Services team, the Nursing Assistant Student provides direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and Clinical Instructor. The NA student delivers care that is defined within the NH Board of Nursing Practice Act, the scope of the nursing assistant. The NA Student assists patients with activities of daily living, provides emotional support, responds to patient needs and monitors the patient s environment for safety, and performs more complex clinical skills under the direction of an RN.

The program is a 6-week program including classroom instruction with some practicum hours.

Pharmacy Technician Program

As a member of the pharmacy team, pharmacy technician students will support the pharmacists with preparation and sale of medications. Pharmacy Tech Students provide excellent customer service to all customers and patients, order and maintain pharmacy supplies and ensure that inventories are kept at optimum levels, receive and process prescriptions via written prescriptions from patients or electronic prescriptions from providers to be reviewed by registered pharmacist.

This is a 6-week program including classroom instruction and practicum hours.
