The Area IT Analyst assists the IT Manager with technology functions for the area hotels. Under the guidance of the IT Manager they will to ensure all areas of the hotel are supported with proper computer systems while maintaining the Hyatt and hotel brand standards. This position will support both The Thompson Seattle and Motif Seattle hotels. Overall responsibilities include technical work, customer service, administrative, operational and other responsibilities as assigned or required. The Area IT Analyst is responsible for maintaining and upgrading existing systems, maintaining inventories, conducting training to promote efficient operations. The Analyst may also answer questions to avoid or resolve systems-related problems. The Analyst will assist the IT Manager to establish policies and procedures, purchase operating equipment and maintain relationships with the corporate office and Hyatt technology support teams. Duties may also involves conferring with application experts and computer operators in order to exchange information and resolve problems related to daily operation of various applications systems, report generation, system enhancements, system failures and related issues.

Successful candidates will maintain a professional demeanor, have strong administrative, interpersonal and communication skills. Experience with LAN infrastructure, Windows computers and Property Management Systems is desired.
