Title: FED Security Officer (Armed)

$25.55 per hour plus $4.26 per hour Health & Welfare ***SIGNING BONUS OF UP TO $1000.00***

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Two (2) years Armed Security OR Law Enforcement OR U.S Military Service experience

• Guard Card
• U.S Citizenship or Naturalization Proof

Bolton, Burlington, Colchester, Essex Junction, Fairfax, Fairfield, St. Albans, Jericho, Milton, Richmond, Shelburne, Williston, and Underhill

As a Paragon Security Officer (PSO) you will observe and report activities and incidents while assigned to the DHS Federal Protective Service. This includes providing for the security and safety of federally owned / leased facilities, federal property and personnel.

Additionally, primary responsibilities include precluding unauthorized access to facilities, responding to unusual or emergency situations, using appropriate escalation of force level up to and including armed response as dictated by the situation and protocol, making periodic tours to check for irregularities and inspecting protection devices and fire control equipment. Lastly, duties also include preserving order and acting to enforce regulations / directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises
