Lozier Environmental Consulting, Inc., located in Rochester, NY, is looking to expand our team for 2023! We have positions available for the Asbestos Air Sampling Technician/Project Monitor position. College kids in the Environmental Science major looking for summer work? Great way to get your foot in the door and get some knowledge and experience!

We are seeking an individual who works well in a team environment and can complete projects on their own. The individual must be reliable, well organized, professional, and able to work with residential clients, commercial, municipal, or industrial building owners, and contractors.

A valid drivers license in good standing, a reliable vehicle (car or truck), and current automobile insurance are required. Most work is within the Rochester area, but travel between Buffalo, Syracuse, Albany and the Southern Tier areas are highly possible.

Entry level training for the NYS Department of Labor Certification will be provided for the right person. Experienced, certified individuals are encouraged to apply. Lozier will provide on-site training, safety and sampling equipment necessary to set up asbestos air monitoring projects. Pay will be based upon experience and opportunities are available for advanced certifications such as Building Inspector, Mold Assessors, Lead Assessors, etc.

This is a full time hourly position. Most work is scheduled for Monday through Friday day shift. Early days, late nights, night shift, and weekends may be required occasionally.
