- Safely operate fabrication equipment, including shears, press, ironworkers, punch press, and saws.
- Possess required skills to set-up machinery for the production of parts.
- Complete lists of required daily parts.
- Read shop prints and interpret directions to make parts to specifications.
- Work alone or with a partner to produce parts using assigned machinery.
- Locate and handle proper raw material, lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Track the number of parts produced.
- Move completed parts to the staging area
Other Related Duties:
- Operate forklift when required and with a valid operator's permit.
Necessary Job Skills:
- Knowledge of operation of fab machinery.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
- Required mathematical skills for machine set-up.
