Dept/Company: Food and Beverage
Reports To: Banquet Manager, Catering Director, F&B Director.
Purpose: Assisting Banquet Manager in achieving customer satisfaction, profit, and revenue goals by overseeing Banquet Operations.
Areas of
Responsibility:
- Ensures satisfaction of customers by supervising banquet personnel.
- Ensures room is set up in accordance with customer specifications by supervising the set-up staff, and inspecting room.
- Conducts function review and adjusts specifications as necessary.
- Ensures operation equipment is up to standard by completing monthly inventory.
- Inspects Banquet Rooms on an on-going basis and takes appropriate steps to ensure facilities are in excellent conditions at all times.
- Manages food and beverage service provided during functions.
- Ensures the quality of food and beverage products served
- Assists in all Banquet inventories and organizations.
- Helps develop and implement strategies and practices which support employee engagement.
- Provides employees with proper training.
- Communicates performance expectations and provides employees with on-going feedback.
- Reports employee progress to Banquet Manager.
- Creates 100% guest satisfaction by delivering Yes I Can! service.
- Communicates and reinforces the vision for Yes I Can!
- Uses teamwork to support guests and employees
- Seeks opportunity to improve customers experience by seeking customer feedback.
Key Skills and
Requirements:
- Skilled in the use of techniques and strategies required to deliver training materials in group setting or one-on-one.
- Performance Management, Supervisory—demonstrates ability to relate to, communicate with, and motivate employees to sustain high performance and quality levels.
- Leadership skills
- Microsoft Office/Computer Skills
- Must be able to carry up to 50 pounds alone and up to 70 pounds with team.
- Banquet Serving Experience: 2 years minimum
- Professional Demeanor
- Early Morning Availability
- Weekend Availability
- Willing and able to work 12 hour shifts.
- Can carry Banquet Serving Tray
- Can stand for long periods of time
