Assistant Controller Arlington, TX
SHIFT: Monday - Friday (Days 8-5 pm). There are some weekend requirements during our month end close process (typically the 4th through the 8th/9th).
Job Summary
The Assistant Controller is responsible for the overall operations of Finance. This includes reviewing of the General Ledger for accuracy, maintaining current balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset system. Supervising payroll, ensuring that all current payroll policies and practices are followed, accurate, and are implemented in a timely manner. In addition, this position is responsible for assisting and monitoring the Account Payable function, located at the Supply Chain Services, to ensure that vendors are paid timely and according policy. All the above in accordance with facility, Corporate, Federal, State, and Local Regulations.
Qualifications
Education:
- CPA is encouraged
Experience:
- Degree and 3 years experience as a staff accountant in a healthcare environment* RECENT ACUTE CARE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Or non-degreed, 6 years experience as a staff accountant in a healthcare environment RECENT ACUTE CARE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Compensation: Salary range from $36.42 (min) - $45.52 (mid) 10 years - $114k (max) 20 years+
