The Executive Team at Sylvan Learning’s office is looking for an Assistant Director our Omaha location on 156th and Maple. This is an entry level position with future opportunities for advancement. Seeking a candidate with some education or childcare experience. The candidate selected will play a key part in supporting the management and growth of all of our Omaha centers. This person would be working directly with our directors ensuring the needs of our students and families are being met. He/she would meet with families, assess students, teach, answer the phones, help with filing and email correspondence. This position can be either part-time or full-time.

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS • Post secondary education with an emphasis in education or related field or someone in the education field finishing up their degree is preferred but not required • Ability to support a main departmental administrative role • Gets upset when excuses are given • Gets stuff DONE! • Sets a goal then takes action to conquer it! • Extremely organized and detail oriented • Willing to lift boxes, clean floors, and hold doors if that’s what it takes to get something done • Is always learning, growing, and being stretched • Desires to be a part of something larger than themselves • Good with technology (Microsoft Suite, Google Drive, Zoom, Gsuites) •Comfortable posting on social media • Is a naturally gifted communicator • Be prepared to bring your personality with you all day, every day.

Salary Range Full-Time - $35,000 to $40,000

Part-Time Hourly Pay Expectations - $16 to $19 an hour
