EVAPCO Inc. is an Employee Owned manufacturing company with global resources and solutions for worldwide heat transfer applications headquartered in Taneytown, MD and has an immediate full-time opening for an Assistant Drafter. We are looking for a self-motivated and detail oriented person to join our team!
Specific Responsibilities:
- Makes detail drawings and assembly drawings from solid models created by Sr. Designers, Designers, and Sr. Drafters
- Learns Solid Edge knowledge and skills
- Revise drafts and models, directed by Sr. Designers, Designers, and Sr. Drafters
- Checks own work
Qualifications:
- Must have SOLIDWORKS Certificate or Comparable Certificate from College or University
- Ability to work in a team environment
- High proficiency in a 3D modeling environment, such as Solid Edge, with strong attention to detail required
- Possess excellent communication and computer skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments/projects with minimal supervision
- Must possess excellent organizational skills and ability to meet required deadlines
- Experience in a sheet metal manufacturing environment a plus
- A working knowledge of Autodesk Revit BIM software a plus
