Pizza & Gamez Entertainment, PGE is a family entertainment center attached to the A5 Sportsplex on Alpharetta Highway, PGE is a new division of Andretti Indoor Karting & Games and is growing rapidly.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Assistant General Manager is responsible for the leadership of the Pizza & Gamez Entertainment (PGE) facility & team members on an ongoing basis, while focusing on staffing, scheduling & training of hourly staff, service standards, operational procedures, guest relations, sanitation, environment control, cash handling, staff motivation, and safety & security.

The Assistant General Manager will report and work closely with the General Manager to plan unit strategy and set and work to meet long term unit goals as well as run unit operations and create an environment that encourages ownership & accountability by Team Members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead team members and managers with integrity and purpose
• Empower staff to deliver exceptional legendary service
• Fully accountable for all aspects of P&L, including achieving annual revenue, profit, cost control and inventory control
• Provide direct and honest feedback to operations managers and staff regarding individual performance
• Manage staff training and employee relations
• Assure that staff morale is maintained at a high level
• Take an active part in the recruitment and retention of staff
• Accountable to maximize daily sales and effectively manage costs, labor, and cash control
• Manage department labor costs within acceptable budgets
• Ensure site inspections are within acceptable standards
• Manage organization and cleanliness of departmental areas
• Work closely with Sales Department to ensure proper scheduling and planning for Events
• Oversee, maintain, and inventory areas of unit equipment

Assistant General Manager Qualifications

Required:

• Eligible to work in the United States
• At least 18 years of age
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong organizational skills
• The desire and ability to be pleasant, upbeat and sociable throughout the workday
• Work varying days, nights, holidays and weekends

Preferred and great to have:

• Five years of restaurant or FEC management in a high-volume environment
• Proven leadership and team skills; ability to motivate and manage all levels of staff
• Strong training and development background
• Working knowledge of cost controls
• Strong training and development background
