Assistant Inventory Coordinator - full-time
Job description
Kitchen Kettle Village is now accepting applications for a FULL-TIME ASSISTANT INVENTORY COORDINATOR. This position is responsible for helping the Inventory Coordinator with data entry, inventory purchasing, receiving reconciliation, and inventory management for nine stores. She/he will enter new vendors and new line items into our software platform, Retail Pro, when inventory is purchased. They will assist in matching receiving vouchers to invoices, running related reports, and assist in taking annual inventory.
Some of the essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Researching vendors or products as necessary for data entry
- Enter new vendors in point-of-sale system
- Investigate differences between packing lists, vouchers, and invoices
- Conduct product discrepancy calls to vendors and monitor the resolutions
- Assist in month-end close with Inventory Coordinator and accounting department
