Job description
Education/Certification/License/Experience:
- Master’s degree
- Valid Texas principal certificate; or enrolled in a principal certification program and within one year of challenging the principal certification exam to be considered
- Citizenship, residency, work visa in the United States required
- Three years experience as a classroom teacher
- Experience in instructional leadership roles preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Thorough understanding of school operations
- Help to enforce a student discipline management system that results in positive student behavior
- Ensure that school rules are uniformly observed and that student discipline is appropriate and equitable
- Working knowledge of curriculum and instruction
- Ability to implement policy and procedures
- Ability to interpret data
- Strong organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
