Responsibilities
2. Improve/maintain the quality of the AEGD through ongoing outcomes assessment including but not limited to resident recruitment, didactic content, and clinical experience
3. Develop innovative teaching materials and methods to include lectures, videos and other supplemental materials as indicated
4. Contribute to the collaborative advanced technology curricula and clinical efforts.
5. Develop, administer, and provide informal/formal student performance assessments. Plan and provide student assessments. Participate in faculty peer review.
6. Increase visibility of AEGD residency programs through mentoring leading to resident presentations and publications at local, regional, and national levels
7. Support and participate in other teaching activities as assigned
2. Prepare quality scholarly manuscripts for publication.
3. Promote, lead, and participate within the Department¿s and DCG¿s scholarly agenda.
4. Seek opportunities to participate in FOSTER teams or clinical research projects. Publish an average of 0.75 peer-reviewed article per year.
2. Maintain CODA required documentation within the Restorative Science department¿s Box structure
3. Actively participate in assigned committee work and seek additional committee assignments
4. Seek local, state, and national level professional involvement (professional organization committees, CE presentations at national level, etc.)
5. Demonstrate compliance with AU and DCG policies and practices
6. Annually review with the department Chair and Associate Chair the AEGD Program documentation toward CODA compliance
2. Adhere to quality standards for compliance with all DCG and AU policy regarding EHR documentation.
Other duties as assigned.

Job Information
Seeking full-time faculty Program Director to lead and support the DCG Advanced Education Program in General Dentistry (AEGD), a nationally recognized, progressive program. The director will support and collaborate with the Restorative Sciences GPR and Prosthodontics advanced education programs, as well as the other five DCG advanced education programs. Additional limited responsibilities include predoctoral didactic, preclinical, and/or clinical teaching in restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, and associated areas. Preference will be given to candidates with significant clinical experience and demonstrated expertise in esthetics, advanced dental technologies, digital workflow, including dental implants, to support ongoing expansion of the advanced technology curricula. The preferred candidate will have prior experience in dental education and demonstrated ability to work productively in didactic and clinical educational environments. The preferred candidate will have a history of research/scholarly activity including publications and scientific/professional presentations. Participation in the DCG intramural faculty practice is available. The faculty member will support organized dentistry and pursue professional service activities at the DCG, AU, and national and international levels.
