William Ryan Homes is seeking a highly-motivated Assistant Construction Superintendent to join our Production team in the West Valley, AZ area. The person in this position is responsible for assisting the Superintendents with the safe and timely delivery of a construction project, ensuring all site activities are fully coordinated.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in maintaining high standards of quality throughout the building process including safety, and cleanliness
  • Support in the maintenance of schedules with diligent project and time management
  • Participate in site meetings and required site safety meetings
  • Committed to providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Basic understanding of construction trades and construction techniques
  • General carpentry skills an asset
  • Quick learner, detail-oriented and organized
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Self-starter with ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately and timely
  • Basic technology skills, including Microsoft Windows, Outlook

Experience/Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • General Labor and/or Residential Construction Experience is preferred

Other Requirements:

  • Some travel required; must own or lease a truck and have a valid driver’s license with insurance coverage
  • Cell phone with data package
