Job description
Assists the Executive Department staff in the management of the offices of the Town Manager, Personnel Officer, and Town Clerk, to include managing record-keeping of highly sensitive records per Town policy, State and Federal requirements, and other duties related to these offices.
Qualifications
NM Class D Driver’s License with acceptable driving record or ability to obtain within 30 days AS in related field, may be substituted with 4 years of experience in office management or related field in a government agency
Special Requirements
3 years as an office manager, administrative assistant or other position of similar or more responsibility. Experience and knowledge of employment laws, records retention Experience in working with highly sensitive and confidential information Prefer experience with a government agency. Proficient computer skills, organizational skills, and verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently but also receive and accept direction. Ability to multi-task. Ability to read, research and comprehend policies, procedures, State and Federal laws. Ability to pass drug and alcohol tests.
