We are an Assisted Living in the East Valley looking for outgoing, hardworking, dependable individuals to join our team! We are looking for full time and part time cooks to help provide amazing food to our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing meals for the elderly community
• Cleaning and maintaining food service area
• Assisting the dietary supervisor in maintaining inventory control

Requirements:

• Able to cook short order breakfast items
• Have knowledge of kitchen equipment
• Know how to follow a recipe
• Be able to handle stressful situations well
• Be flexible and accommodating with hours and residents
• Communicate effectively with supervisor, coworkers, families, and residents
• Good time management
• Some cooking experiences
• Current food handlers permit
• Possess a love for the elderly and have a kind and compassionate attitude

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Experience:

• Restaurant experience: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• fingerprint clearance card (Preferred)
• Food Handler Certification (Preferred)
