Reporting to the Brand Manager, PB Adjacencies, the Associate Brand Manager, PB Adjacencies will drive growth in emerging categories (PB Cheese, PB Mayo, and other categories on a limited basis) for both So Delicious Dairy Free and Follow Your Heart. This individual will be responsible for establishing core business management processes, leading projects that will solidify our growth trajectory, and persistently iterating tactics that will drive demand. This role will also include the management of high impact projects as well as the day-to-day business activity for the business (sales performance tracking and reporting, Demand Planning/ GPS Forecasting, P&L ownership). The PB Adjacencies team represents a fast-growing, high priority business for Danone within dynamic categories. This role can be based in White Plains, NY or Broomfield, CO!


The ideal candidate will thrive on creating clarity in an ambiguous environment and understands that a balance of efficiency and scrappy, open-minded persistence is necessary to win in emerging categories.


Responsibilities:
  • Leadership of critical portfolio management projects with cross-functional stakeholders including but not limited to line extensions, packaging updates, and minor renovations.
  • Manage agency partners in the creative development process and execution of high impact activations, promotions, and packaging projects.
  • Establish and manage efficient consumption reporting processes for PB adjacency categories, inclusive of data pulled from IRI, Nielsen, and SPINS. Enable and perform consumer, customer, and competitive analysis to support regular (e.g., Monthly Business Reviews) and ad-hoc needs
  • Lead Brand input into forecasting and GPS/demand planning, with guidance from Manager
  • Partner with Category Commercial team to support TDP expansion, aligned with priorities
  • Support development of marketing communications / activations to drive consumer demand
  • Aggregate market, customer, and consumer insights for PB adjacency categories to inform strategic planning processes such as Strat Plan, AOP, and Brand Plan
  • Manage the marketing budget for your respective business

About you
About You:
  • You have a Bachelor's Degree, MBA a plus
  • You have 2+ years prior professional work experience
  • You have experience in either Brand Marketing or CPG
  • You have experience using syndicated data sources, (e.g., IRI, Nielsen, SPINS) strongly preferred
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity / Acts as an owner: can drive clarity on path forward for team/leadership, and can pivot approach due to changing dynamics internally and externally
  • You have Grit / Results orientation: High level of drive and commitment, persisting even when faced with challenges while maintaining focus on our goals
  • You have the ability to learn quickly and desire to develop new skills outside your comfort zone
  • You possess cross-functional leadership: able to quickly build relationships that allow you to align and lead a team toward achieving a common goal
  • You have strong communication: rooting in clear data stories and designing communication with a specific objective for a specific audience

The base compensation range for this position is $95k-110k commensurate with experience.
