Overview:
Harrington Cancer Center is a department within the BSA Health System and has provided care for oncology patients throughout the Texas Panhandle for 30 years. Harrington Cancer Center sees over 100 patients a day and sees all patients of all ages.
Responsibilities:
The Clinical Trials Research Coordinator (CTRC) facilitates enrollment of subjects to IRB approved research on behalf of the investigator. The CTRC must effectively communicate protocol requirements and coordinate the treatment & follow-up of all registered research subjects with investigators, IRB liaison, sponsors/monitors and other personnel participating in the research project. The CTRC ensures timely submission of data to sponsors and must maintain efficient information gathering & distribution systems using fax, mail, and computer, telephone, and photocopy equipment. The CTRC serves as an advocate for the research subject.

Qualifications:
Education/Licensure/Certifications:
- Associates in Nursing with a current Texas RN licensure
- OR Bachelor’s degree in Biology or science discipline
- Relevant education and/or experience may be considered to satisfy educational requirements.
Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- CITI training
- IATA Dangerous Goods training
- Certified Clinical Research Coordinator preferred
- Extensive patient-care experience preferred
- Clinical Research experience preferred
- Oncology experience preferred
- Analytical and technical skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects
- Excellent reading comprehension
- Excellent communication skills
