Veranex’s CSMA growing team is looking for an Associate for our Boston office or remote based on location. This full-time, entry-level position requires an individual with a proven record of academic excellence and a demonstrated interest and knowledge in the healthcare industry. A minimum of a B.S or B.A. is required, with major or coursework in the Health Policy, Life Sciences, Economics, or Business preferred.

Position Description:
    Conduct research and analysis regarding market opportunity, market access, evidence requirements, and pricing for new health care products and services including biopharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostics, and digital health technologies
    Analyze current medical practices, competitive technologies, payer policies, and other market access and adoption factors for innovative products and services
    Conduct primary and secondary research and data collection, and interview clinicians, payers, and other healthcare stakeholders
    Take detailed notes highlighting action items during internal and external meetings
    Develop project materials within given timelines and produce written reports ready for internal review
    Collaborate with project managers and other team members to deliver advanced analysis and recommendations to a global client base of innovative healthcare companies
Required Skills and Experience:
    B.S or B.A., with major or coursework in the health policy, life sciences, economics, or business field preferred
    Graduate education is a plus
    Inquisitive nature and desire to excel in a collaborative environment
    Demonstrated interest in how healthcare is delivered, accessed, and financed globally
    Prior internships, work experience, or independent research in healthcare or business analytics preferred
    Excellent organization and time management practices
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    Experience with PowerPoint and Excel
    Experience with programming languages or statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, SPSS, Visual Basic) a plus
    Ability to show examples of taking initiative and being detail-oriented
    Strong consideration given to candidates with additional language skills that represent our global market
