About Us
Our firm is small but brings in cases that a mid-sized firm would handle. No two cases are alike, although our main areas of focus are: commercial litigation, business law, and real estate. We are not the typical law firm. While it is important that you complete your work timely, efficiently, and competently, we are not going to demand you work overtime or yell at you for mistakes. What we lack in ability to pay large firm pay rates, we make up for in our supportive and family-friendly environment. We are also very flexible, so if you need to work from home so you can care for a sick dependent from time to time or because your mobility is limited due to personal sickness, injury, etc., you can pick up at home where you left off at the office by logging in anywhere you have an internet connection.

About the Position
We are in need of an attorney to help shoulder some of our litigation files and even sit in on a real estate closing or attend a land use hearing or other meeting now and again. You will be responsible for your cases from start to finish. A typical day will find you reviewing client documents and preparing a memo, drafting a Complaint, drafting or responding to discovery requests, attending a case management conference, following up on a settlement offer, etc.

We need someone who can devote at least 20 hours per week with an interest in expanding to more full-time work over time. You will need to be able to come to our office to work initially, but once you are established with the firm, work from home opportunities will be available.

Compensation:
If Part Time: Hourly, Rate Dependent on experience and scheduled hours
If Full Time: Salaried, Dependent on experience
Bonus for work you originate

Benefits: 2 Weeks of PTO + Health Insurance

Qualifications
JD, Actively licensed in NJ
Technology savvy (FYI we use Mac computers at the office)
Rockstar at legal research and writing
