65+ year old downtown Newark (Military Park/Prudential Headquarters section) law firm seeks a litigation attorney for immediate hire to work in its diverse civil litigation practice with a minimum of 7 years experience. The ideal candidate will have prior New Jersey civil litigation experience and a demonstrated ability to work independently. Candidates should have superior writing skills and prior experience drafting initial pleadings, motions and briefs. Prior experience handling depositions, arbitrations, court conferences and trial calls is also preferred. New Jersey bar admission required. Applicants who also have New York bar admission and/or completed a judicial clerkship will be given priority.
