Job description
Supports the day to day activities and resources of their functional area of responsibility to achieve organizational goals and objectives. An Auto Press Operator is responsible for the operation of the press and production including quality of products manufactured.
Responsibilities:
- Follow guidelines to operate presses, decoilers, feeders, conveyors, cranes, and tow motor in a safe and efficient manner.
- Inspect quality of parts and complete relevant paperwork when necessary.
- Work with inspection gauges and equipment as per instruction.
- Maintain & improve housekeeping within his/her work area.
- Assist the maintenance and manufacturing teams in maintenance programs and record keeping as required.
- Participate and complete all Health and Safety training or any other training mandated by the Company.
- Perform Quick Die Change as per Q.D.C. procedure with minimum supervision.
- Follow IS0 1400-1 requirements.
- Other duties assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years machine operating or technical experience
- Experience with high tonnage press operation and die setting
- Ability to work all shifts
- High School Diploma
