Founders 3 and F3 Airport is growing and we are looking to add an additional Mechanic to our F3 Airport team, supporting the Waukegan National Airport. If you are looking for a growing company that invests in it's employees then Founders 3 is the place for you.

As a member of our Maintenance team, the Mechanic will manage the upkeep of the vehicles and ground support equipment and is responsible for a variety of skilled and unskilled maintenance work on airport buildings, grounds and airfield. The Mechanic is a professional who plays a proactive and reactive role for our client. We ask our Maintenance team to have a practical mind and keen attention to details as they develop and execute preventative maintenance plans.

This position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on heavy machinery and other related airport ground handling equipment.

Requirements: MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE
Engine (Gas & Diesel), Hydraulics, Electrical
Diagnose and repair malfunctions as needed
Utilize technical drawing and testing equipment
Obtain replacement parts, install and/or make repairs
Confer with Manager for complex repairs, which require approval
Completion of paperwork as required

Experience required: 1- 5 years’ mechanical experience required

Compensation level will be based on experience level,
