Job Description
We are looking for an individual to work within our Supply Chain organization, and be focus on supply chain operations alignment, performance critical metrics, and risk mitigation. This person would help lead supplier/manufacturing/customer readiness, ongoing operations, and standardization across North America, APAC, and Europe.

As a member of Global Supply Chain & Manufacturing (GSCM), you will contribute to our operations, minimize work, and remove variation within the Automotive Systems Division (ASD). You will uncover needs and build solutions that promote continuous improvement and standard process sharing found throughout GSCM, including our manufacturing operations in Tijuana, Mexico, our regional distribution centers, and ASD.

Key responsibilities include defining, developing, and establishing documentation, meaningful metrics (KPIs), setting standards, and become a process owner to enable process improvement.

You would work to evaluate, scope, and implement critical initiatives such as:
  • Process improvements
  • Potential Material Allocations
  • Risk Mitigation Tracking
  • Management of exceptional situations to mitigate risk and customer/financial impacts
  • Drive actions to improve Other Cost of Goods Sold (OCOS)
  • Investigate and leverage lessons learned from supply chain impacts
  • Develop early warning systems in supply chain for shortages and a path to escalation
  • Standardize ASD transportation claims and develop opportunities to reduce the global transportation costs to the business.
  • Explore opportunities for sustainability improvements
  • Work with Trade Compliance and the Regional Supply Chain Managers when new customers and locations are needed to ensure proper setup
  • Partner with existing management in regional operations to enhance support when opportunity exists (take on management roles in the regions as needed)
Standard/additional work such as:
  • Build and maintain dashboards to aid in the management of the business
  • Support leadership with ad hoc tasks and analysis
  • Maintain tools that already exist and development improvements
Desired Skills and experience:
  • 8-10 years of manufacturing or supply chain experience, automotive is an advantage
  • Ability to influence with or without authority
  • Desire to work strategically, operationally, and tactically
  • Comfortable with networking with different divisions, time zones, and languages
  • Project Management and ability to lead multiple projects at once
  • Desire to learn more and take trainings on the side to enhance capabilities and development
Location: Commutable to Framingham, MA or willing to relocate.
